dont read this blog mom and dad

this is random but i bought my parents their christmas gift yesterday its a rather large wooden statue of a girrafe (i just texted my mom "dont read my blog it talks about your xmas present") but its perfect cuz its from africa or something (they were missionaries in the congo for 3 years and my sister and i were born there and i had malaria i am ok now) so i had to carry this large wooden giraffe (comes up to my belly button) around toronto last night for a bit and ill have to fly with it back home tomorrow as a carry on

also when i studied abroad in south america-- the family i stayed with in peru had kids my age and one (renato) is working abroad in minnesota for a year to learn english and he gets there tomorrow and he is bringing inka cola mmm so good (pop that tastes like bubble gum and its yellow they only have it in peru and i think colorado maybe?) so thats cool and im driving a silver car this week but i keep trying to get in other silver cars first thinking its the right one which brings us back to that time in middle school when i went grocery shopping with my childhood bff leah and her fam and they had a van so i walk out of the grocery store and into the van and buckle up and look up to find the family who's van i just walked into all like who are you? whoops wrong family :)

berry the homeless guy is picky when it comes to sweaters

yesterday i parked in down-town toronto and was gunna check out muchmusic (canada mtv) just to see what it was like) and on the way there i stopped to use the bathroom at this smoothie store--  a girl working there named jacquie (from south africa) was like here i'll show you around toronto! i was like sweet! so i told her id go to muchmusic and then come back after she got off work-- went to muchmusic and it was cool and on my way back i heard 'lenay!' i was like who do i know in toronto and it was chrissy and angie helping out with revolve tour and we are just friends on facebook and never met in person ha! so that was super random so then us and jacquie from the smoothie shop drove around toronto and laid in huge clothes bin at a huge thrift store and then we were like lets each buy a 4.99$ sweatshirt and give them to homeless guys cuz its effing cold outside! then the thrift store was obviously closing cuz they shut off all the lights and we were like we can not see and my 4.99 sweater rung up as 7.99 cuz supposedly mine had a hood?! so mad just kidding kinda- first homeless man we see looks like a walking sleeping bag (he was walking in a sleeping bag), jacquie was like.. don? and he was like ... jacquie?! and then they hugged! it was so random!! turns out jacquie used to work at starbucks and hand out the extra sandwiches at the end of the night to homeless people including him and so he took a sweatshirt, his story: flew to toronto years ago to go to his sister's funeral (she committed suicide cuz her boyfriend beat her) and then just decided to stay and be homeless. next homeless guy Berry didnt want my sweatshirt (even with the hood!) cuz he didnt like green he only wanted angies. gave mine to a homeless guy named buck-- who suspiciously looks like an older buck the camera guy-- and one homeless guy named guy didnt want one -- then me and jacquie went out around town to skateboarding/art parties and then had a slumber party at my hotel and woke up for the free breakfast in the morning just as they were putting it away at 10am and we were like WAIT!!!! and they gave us bagels and there was a kid little hockey league or something staying there cuz a bunch of 10 yr olds and their parents were eating looking at us and i was like hi im lenay and this is jacquie and they said hi and then i asked them a few questions but they stopped answering them so we just laughed and ate our bagels and then went upstairs and jumped on the beds holding any loose appliance we found around the hotel room and took a lot of facebook pictures :) 

i do bad things don't judge me

k after europe i went to washington, stayed with a red bull sbm girl and her roommates till jason got there and went on the revolve tour with him for the weekend then we went to hawaii with 9 people from tour for a week for fun which was warm and wonderful and a lot of rainbows and then went to portland the next weekend for revolve tour again, and then i went home to MN for a week and now i'm in canada for a week and going back to MN this sunday where i will be for the holidays yay i get to be home for more than 5 days!! and my sister who lives in florida is coming back for christmas too which is thooper. i am not a horrible person but i did 2 bad things.... that i am thinking about right now.... we drove to canada first of all and at a toll near chicago it wanted exact change and all i had was foreign currency from europe so i just kept throwing in euros or pounds or whatever until it registered some as u.s. coins and let me through... thats bad thing number one... bad thing number two happened this summer i just cant remember if i blogged about it or not, i was in LA eating ice-cream with london (from MN but moved to LA and brandon and robb (red bull LA friends) and we got our icecream but then i decided i didnt like mine so i ''accidently dropped it'' on the ground so when they replaced it i just got a new flavor... ill update you if i do anything else bad.

im sitting in an airport come sit by me

some old man (airport layover in germany) just came up to me very bluntly and kindly and made small talk about what i spilled on my arm (i was rubbing of my I'm FROM USA i had written on my arm from the concert night before cuz i dont want ppl to think im doing that normally) and then he said that im more than welcome to come to washington with him-- didnt want to tell him i was actually heading there too luckily i havent seen him yet again and the guy i sat next to on the plane today i wasnt planning on talking to but then we got food and i was curious as to whether he was guna eat his cake so i made small talk until he gave me his cake haha

i found this blog on my computer and i dont know if i ever posted it!! so here it is... kinda random, from a few months ago!:::::: "this always happens to me! whenever I use the handicap stall in the bathroom I come out and there's someone in a wheelchair waiting and its super awkward like they are like why are you in my stall and I'm like I'm just greedy and wanted a lot of space agh!!! anyway. ok funny story i went to a restaurant last night and after food everyone was just kinda standing around in circles of friends, chatting on the patio and my friend nick was like hey lenay that's cute it almost looks like you're back to back with the random man standing behind you in his own circle of friends. so then my circle dared me to kinda lean on his back and see if he noticed, so i leaned to rest my weight on him haha and his circle shifted away from us. so then we shifted over too and i kept leaning and about 5 minutes later he turned around and was like hey you are leaning on me and i was like oh really? sorry my back was probably just being lazy and i didnt realize it! then i got embarrassed and blamed nick for daring me, and then i told them to go watch a video of me and my friend liz rolling around target on my site www.lenay.tv and then they told me they all worked at target and then i was like uhhh"

mcfly concert and end of europe!!

ok i was literally 5 minutes away from ireland on my bus and still didnt know where i was gunna stay and got a phone call from a red bull ireland person that was like, someone is waiting for you at the bus stop and has a place for you to stay!!! i was like yay!!!!! stayed with james (red bull SBM -a person who represents red bull for their university) and his college 3 room-mates. so they hung out with me and showed me around ireland it was soo awesome! (they live in Galway) i cooked the boys thank you pancakes this morning and james slapped neil in the face with one cuz he wasnt awake yet. seems to be a trend. stay with an SBM, they burn me a CD, i cook them pancakes. do something weird with pancakes. (i bought blank cd's and have someone from each country burn me a cd) and my 19 yr old sbm buds were at first like,,,, no WAY u are 23. i was like what?!?! geez thats not old! is that old?! dont answer that. i still get carded for being under 16 at mall of america

one of my favorite bands mcfly had a show in Dublin so I went there on my last night before I went back to the states which is today--so saw mcfly today!!! AMAZING!!!! i had bought 2 tickets for this show like a month ago haha and an ireland sbm brendan went with me we got there at 3pm, (doors opened at 7) since we were in the first 1000 to get there we got 'pit wristbands' (first come first serve) and we worked our way up to front row!! the first two bands played.... one called avenue with 5 boys, one of which was acting so arrogant it was so funny i shoulda taken a picture, like wiggling his leg and winking like i said it was funny, then mcfly came on and the guitar player had the coolest shimmery guitars with matching lights for where the dots on the frets are, if i ever get fancy i want a guitar like that,

while waiting in the concert line for 4 hours all the girls in the line were sharing their sandwiches they packed (or their moms packed) with me! so cute. and it was weird being on the reverse side of a concert waiting in a line with fans, sorry if that sounds weird or something im just not used to it! - it was fun! girls next to me said ireland loves obama (they were 14) and them and their friends have his picture all over their school folders! made friends with a lot of 14 year olds, especially cuz brendan (who i gave my extra concert ticket to -- galway SBM) looks like tom from mcfly so he was having a big meet and greet in the line and girls kept screaming it was funny he was like "omg i got mobbed" he told his x g/f on the phone later haha--

brendan dropped me off at the airport after and thats where i am now- its like midnight and my flight is at 6 am im just guna sleep here. pulled a 'can you make it' move when 4 guys traveling from france one bought me an espresso and i gave him a red bull in exchange. took a nap on starbucks couches with a lota people on the same couch just kidding i had my own couch but never fully asleep. got a mcfly shirt. here the kids have 'bebo' in stead of myspace and stuff, so girls at the show were like find me on bebo!! im like i dont have bebo but you're accent is interesting keep talking

blog confession... and my day is suckeee but i still like it

i have a confession, i keep two journals-- first i write an un-censored one on my computer and then when i copy it to my online blog i take out some stuff-- i take out some boring details, maybe a few too personal things, gross things, stories about people that they would not want shared, whatever i just censor it ok so you and your mom and whoever in the entire world can read it and not be offended or something! i got a random email from a girl today who was like i'm moving to canada cuz obama is president-- i researched on my own for the first time just to tell her why he's better than mccain ha. that probably wont make the online journal for a few reasons... well ok maybe it will now. oh ya and the waitress in austria on my bday said she is fascinated by americans and found me on myspace so now we friends

wow most frustrating travel day ever!! ok first the bus miss. then i get to london and a london red bull sbm was gunna pick me and up and show me around and then drop me off at the airport to fly to ireland, but cuz i was late and i couldnt recognize him and couldnt call him we didnt meet up and i was not about to walk around london with my suitcase and sleeping bag so i went to sit down at an internet cafe that i thought was free and the lady yelled at me to pay and then after i asked for a spoon so i could eat the cold soup out of a can that i bought at the grocery store yesterday and she was like you cant eat that here and i was like you suck (not out loud) and went and ate my can soup next to 5 kids my age who couldnt speak english and i spilled on my white sweater and we all just kinda looked at each other haha and then i was like well i have 3 hrs before my flight i could just go sit at the airport for 3 hours and wait, so i asked someone where the airport was and they were like- u gotta take an hour and a half bus or train there.... what?!! so i got on a train and the best part of my day was sitting next to this nice lady from south africa who was flying to algeria to teach africans how to use a computer program (she had to fly all the way to the UK from s.africa to catch a flight back down to algeria cuz there were no direct flights!) i told her i was born in africa and we talked about obama and she showed me a picture of her cute 2 yr old grandson and i took our picture and im going to email it to her so we can remember each other. and the girl i was gunna stay with in ireland -- found out yesterday her friend just died so she had to go to a funeral so im not quite sure where im staying when i get there but ill figure it out. i'm waiting to board my plane now -- which i'm SO glad i didnt miss omg can u imagine? ugh my day woulda been even more wow. oh and the little things that i have to laugh about now is the bread i grabbed at the grocery store to go with my soup i realize now is 'weight watchers' bread which is not bread its air and it cant support my soup.

my bus left at 8:30 this morning and I got there at 8:32 and was running after the bus like a special person, my pants kinda slipping down and getting soaked through a puddle and banging on the drivers window as he hardly noticed me and pulled away anyway. so a different driver let me bribe him with 10 quid (slang for pound) to get on his bus without paying the full price again.

last night was seriously so fun i made a crappy digital camera video of it, me jesus azaria and alice in the kitchen (sam skyping cara in his room (my old roomie from MN haha im such a match maker!) reminder i'm still in great britain), i've been telling them all week that i'll make them pancakes so i did last night and i bought mix and we were all hanging in the kitchen, we basically laughed for 2 hours straight cuz i was trying so hard to get them to rise and wondering why they wouldnt, not knowing that pancakes here are like crepes i guess and are flat and thin, so after filling the kitchen with smoke and burning them all we cut out 2 eye-holes in them and became pancake monsters invading sams private skype party. i walk in a different time to see sam checking my youtube messages? i musta used his computer and not logged out- i dont care really its just random-- i still havent signed out and im on my way to london so if any of you write me on youtube and get a response that includes the word 'cheers' or some random great british slang in there its not me

everyone thinks lauren is hot

they steal internet from their neighbors so sometimes when their neighbors get on the internet ours gets real slow haha. put ur hands up in circle and wiggle ur head, what am i? pea on a fork. azaria likes tunnels. thats what sam said. i cleaned their house for 3 hours today as a thank you, typical college house was dirty 10 minutes later haha-- i saw where sam went to boarding school and i saw the castle where they filmed some of harry potter. sam's mom called me out for holding my fork bad and taught me etiquette -- stopped by alex's house (from a different red bull team) i took pics in his bathroom cuz the light switch is like a rope and the toilet has 2 flush buttons- one for poop one for pee and the water is opposite where the hot and cold should be. i was fascinated and i come out and they were like why were camera flashes coming from the bathroom?-- i showed the guys my friends on facebook and they think my friend lauren is hot so we took a pic of sam and alex with an empty seat in the middle for lauren and their arms around invisible lauren.

im reading the can you make it journal jesus' and sam's team (they were on team 'disciples') -- they slept in the staircase of a hotel and jesus slept with a metal spoon incase peasants tried stealing his hairband. jesus also got his hair cut for 2 red bull on the trip, and they slept on 3rd floor outside shoe store in airport one night. one blog they couldnt find the question mark so they just replaced it with the number nine9 And haha one of their quotes is ".. on arrival we sat down, set up camp (in train station) and started playing a bit of Jazzy FIVES (a hand game they play)... redely this itlatian/swiss todger, who had the appearance of sideshow bob decided to play a game of his own, he called 'STARING". >> end quotation. then i read on and it sounds like jesus said 'hello' to him and then security maced somebody. ill have to ask about that later! ok i asked. turns out creepy starer was trying to cross border without passport so he was maced.

today went to uni with them and then with the girls to a pet shop to look at kittens, the ppl at the pet shop were so hard core one lady was outside with a cat sweater and a cat umbrella cuz it was raining on her smoke break. then i was like do you have a bathroom, and she was like, yes as long as you dont mind boo and his crew staring at your bum. i was like wtf it turns out boo is the cat who lives in the bathroom and his 'crew' are his 2 cat girlfriends who lay with him next to the toilet in a blanket ha! going to pet shop. such a simple thing but in Wales. culture!!!! i was fascinated taking pictures like a tourist like woh a pet shop but in wales! the cat ladies were like whatever makes you happy. cat lady but in wales!! hey we have you guys in the states! didnt say that out loud... and they drive on the opposite side of the road here incase no one knows that, and the steering wheel is on the opposite side

jesus and the hampster

im staying in a house with 3 girls (azaria, alice, hannah) and a guy (sam), and their friend who looks like jesus (his names tony) is always over -- we all webcamed with my parents today it was really funny and then jesus is like ok im going downstairs to kill the hamster and he left haha. we all went to the club tonight and.... ps jesus just brought the hamster up.... and me and the girls hannah and alice (dance room upstairs) were the only ones downstairs totally having a dance party with ourselves it was so fun!!! ok bye and now jesus says to the hamster with hands out... come to jesus... and on the way home at a stoplight he got out of the taxi and was like if i beat you back its free and just started sprinting and i wore high heels for the first time and i tripped down the stairs once in the club. and when we were walking to another place i couldnt keep up with the girls in their heels cuz i suk at it so we lost them and i ended up at greasy fast food place with sam and jesus and a lot of girl rugby players

i had nesquick cereal this morning which is real good and i wanna cook them all pancakes and azaria's mom jackie came over and i told her i'd make her pancakes too... i love listening to youtube music videos now, and i have my light up mini eiffel tower next to my bed... its so cool living with ppl who live in other cultures and not doing tourist things. im going to college classes with them tomorrow haha and i like saying the word 'walk' in english accent... im trying to learn

la la la

after can you make it event i stayed by myself in paris for a day to finish editing some episodes and just to lay and do nothing cuz the last few weeks have been CRAZY!!! and im about to trek around europe by myself for 2 more weeks just for fun cuz im here so i need a day off haha i left my hotel room only once --i walk into a restaurant... guy says bonjour, i say hi, i could say bonjour back i guess but that would be about it. the second they know i cant talk french some waiter guy starts talking in french, i was like i know what ur talking about cuz ur pointing at my boots and laughing with your friend. then i sit by myself across from 3 ppl at a table and the lady facing me didnt have anyone across from her so we kept making awkward eye contact the whole time haha and then i stopped in this antique shop and i bought a necklace with an old pocket-watch on it that doesnt work but its awesome i think its so cool it was kinda spendy and its always 1:00

next day i took a 9 hour bus-ride to great britain. my new herbalgrowing friend named ruth i met on the bus to the UK (and we took the ferry across the english channel and were bff's for 9 hours) smelled pretty bad and she brought it up and i felt bad so i said it wasnt that bad. BY THE WAY: when all the red bull teams met in paris i was like who's from the great britain cuz i wanna go there and can i stay with you? so when i got to Cardiff Central I met up with my new friends and stayed in their house, ill tell you more later gota go

using red bull cans as currency

after i went around europe a week before the event to get b-roll and to make the first video in the series-- the actual event started on friday october 24..

SUMMARY OF EVENT: 150 teams of college students from all around europe tried to make their way to paris using only red bull cans as currency!

MY JOB (i effing love red bull): is to follow different teams that i run into and document their travels-- camera guy buck and i had a driver follow us cuz we had camera gear to haul around, and we had to edit at night so sometimes we would follow a team until 2 am and be sleeping in a train station and then pack up and be like see you guys later cuz we gotta get a hotel room and edit!! they understood though and its so fun traveling with them,

and after meeting teams and hearing a lot of their crazy stories i have to share some of my favorites:... one team said they were allowed to sleep in a hotel free but couldnt mess the beds so they slept around the bed on the floor! one guy traded red bull for a brand-new snowboard. one team wore chicken suits the ENTIRE time. one team got a gondola ride in venice a a carriage ride somewhere for red bull. one guy went skydiving with red bull, one team wore flipflops the whole time even though it snowed once, the girls team from hawaii went out partying in every country and found guys (between ages of 21-30) to take them out for steak dinners and to stay at his house or buy them a hotel for red bull haha they worked the girl angle. 3 teams met up one night and slept under a bridge and a homeless man came and gave them pizza! one team brought sleds (zitpher-bobs) the whole way and went down anything they could with them. some teams sold red bull and rented a car, a few even got plane tickets for red bull. one team made it from hungary to paris the first night of the race and then back-tracked to hit all the checkpoints and earn points!

i walk into a restaurant... bonjour they say. i say hi, i could say bonjour back i guess but thats about it. the second they know i cant talk french some waiter guy starts talking in french to his friend cuz he knew i couldnt understand him, i was like i know what ur talking about cuz ur pointing at my boots and laughing. then i sit by myself across from 3 ppl at a table and the lady facing me didnt have anyone across from her so we kept making awkward eye contact the whole time haha, ok can you make it europe show is done and was amazing and i met people from all over and yay! i'm going to stay in europe an extra week and a half and travel the UK and ireland, and while i'm here go to a mcfly concert in ireland which is one of my favorite bands but is not popular in the states but is here www.myspace.com/mcfly

skype party with my favorite people ever

went to see eiffel tower with pierre (a guy in charge of red bull show) and his from Come (kooom) haha, and they are like close ur eyes (it was night) and they led me and then said open and when i did it was the coolest up close view of the tower lit up blue it was awesome! and then we went to the top and when i got in the taxi on the way home me and the taxi driver could not speak the same language so we just laughed the whole time it was so funny like we seriously just said single words like red bull and espresso and he said single words i couldnt understand and then we just laughed cuz we couldnt understand each other and then i took a picture of him and showed the picture to my loved ones on skype later (like look this was my taxi driver)-- jason, my parents, lauren, and liz were all at my house and on skype (webcam) it was awesome! they said the taxi driver looked like he wanted to kill something, i just dont think he's photogenic. also on skype i saw my cat patches licking her butt on the background and my dad on the floor petting her, and lauren smiling the whole time. funny story: pierre and michi (ppl in charge of red bull event here) gave all the can you make it teams cell phones and got them back when they all left and this morning all their alarms went off at 6am so pierre was trying to dig through 150 phones trying to shut one up haha.

bring pancakes to austria revolution needed

at a checkpoint with teams and red bull wings team austria girls (drive the rb trucks like i used to do) in Gratz, we swapped 3 red bull each for a buffet at a restaurant nearby, and it was breakfast buffet with pancakes i was so happy and a austria red bull girl was like what are these? i was like pancakes! aren't these common here? she said she has only seen them one other time!!

theres a team of guys from austria who are carrying around 'zitpher bobs' (austrian sleds). one guy on the team named bernie m.c.'s red bull events in austria like i have done in the states-- its funny cuz him and his friends always break out in random popular american tunes with anything that reminds them of the tune. like... they see falling leaves starting singing billy talent "fallin leaves fallin leaves falling leaves on the ground" or someones like put your hands in your pocket, they sang... "cuz ive got one and in my pocket and the other one nah nah nah nah nah..." but only a quick one liner from each song its funny! american influence ha. saw girls at random austria restaurant/bar singing bday song in english (german is their main language) and i was told that its almost always sung in english here. they swear in english too

my birthday in austria!!

yesterday almost ran out of gas today! we had less than 10 km left on our tank, rolled into the gas station at 2am, none of our 5 credit cards worked and the guy next to us who didnt speak english put it on his card and we gave him cash, we kept telling him we worked for red bull and he kept thinking we were offering it to him he's like no thanks

its my bday today!! got a flare on a piece of cake in vienna austria for my bday buffet, seriously it was like a serious scary firework in my cake it was crazy-- i got a cardboard bday hat in german like looks like its from burger king haha i wore it all day and i will save it forever. ill add it to my collection of bday gear (like my bday light up pin from 5 years ago) that i still carry with me in my purse incase i want free dessert at a restaurant ill whip it out and make it my birthday

eiffel tower is sparkly blue at night!

i keep trying to collect a full red bull from each country but i keep drinking them after i buy them ugh i drank italy's and i poured switzerland's on a cow. i programmed the gps system girl's voice in the car to have an british accent, she keeps saying "stay on this road for a long time" in her accent its funny. went through the coolest mountains in switzerland today!! a lady at breakfast was like, u going to switzerland? go to interlaken and my mom texted me and said the same thing so it must be good and it was, i really like getting there more actually, the houses and small towns in the mountains were amazing. for some reason i thought people here wore bonnets.

got near paris today-- the guy at the hotel check-in is from bolivia and knows russian and said when he went to study in russia and started talking russian in the airport they were like who is this latino man speaking russian he must be a spy and they kicked him out of the country. the hotel elevator had room for one person at a time it was like riding in a coffin, stepped in dog poop once yesterday. once today. yesterday i cleaned out the crevices of the bottom of my shoes with the hotel cup ring. gross. wow i just looked out my hotel window, its night and the eifel tower is lit up bright blue and started sparkling with white lights all over it!!! and i had no idea it was so close to me!!! i was like omg thats the eiffel tower outside my window!!! ok seriously one of the coolest things ive ever seen in my life, the 3 coolest things i've seen i think are

1. the sparkling eiffel tower at night right now out my window
2. climbing to the top of the sand dunes in peru with my peru friends in the middle of the night, and seeing in all directions the oasis's and towns lit up in the dessert valleys
3. the first moments of falling from an airplane
4. beach in california at night with my family, algae plankton lighting up the sand and water (invisible algae that lit up if you touched it) so the water and sand light up where you touch it. footprints lit up. waves glowed. so effing cool.

this is amazing seriously i'm so lucky to see the eiffel tower right now! when buck was time lapsing the tower today i decided to jog between video shoots in my canada walmart boots and jeans and everything. i jogged around the eiffel tower twice! thats when the dog poop happened.

we have a list of SBMs (college kids who rep red bull for their campus-- i did this for 2 years) from every country here, been trying to call them as we get to their city to meet them or have them show us around- and i called the one in paris, he cant speak english so handed it to his girlfriend or something, im like uh hi, i work for red bull in the u.s. and wanna meet your friend. she was like we are busy, i felt like saying im not hitting on your boyfriend

dream car

after austria we went to italy and I'm having fun talking spanish to italians cuz the languages are similar so we kinda understand each other. found a castle and went to venice and the water streets were so effing cool and we payed for a gondola ride so we could get footage of me explaining 'red bull can you make it' from the boat and the gondola driver let me paddle. random: me and liz met ppl in machu picchu that knew harry potter and got the police called on them cuz they prank called his house asking how 'potions' class was. i just walk over to get internet code from sleeping buck and his key is chilling in his hotel door. s-m-r-t. oh and then the gondola guy (he had to walk with me to get money from a bank to pay him) was like, come with me in my motorboat to my house not far from here, but just me and you, not Book (that's how he pronounced bucks name, like the u sound from you) i was like only if you have kittens haha just kidding but i know if that was my friend lauren she would say that.

and yesterday in trento we were going the wrong way on a one way and a nice young policeman came and tried to tell us in italian that you can't drive on this sidewalk full of people and he gave us a map and was so nice and i reversed (without stalling)

for years me and liz have talked about our dream cars: look at the pics.... hers... and mine.... except she wants hers green and i want mine a light blue and she just got hers last week and 5 hours after she got it she got rear-ended by a drunk driver and got her car towed!! she gets it back in a week   ... cant wait to call shotgun when i get back wee!!

when i woke this morning i opened the curtain to let the bright sun in to hit my unadjusted eyes then jumped back in bed startled like someone else did it or something i was like why did that scare me i did it? while jogging this morning (austria jog so cool and pretty!!) i saw a market thing and wanna get my mom a christmas ornament cuz she only likes ones from europe haha but sorry mom i dont run with my bank card. couldnt figure out the shower today for the life of me so i stuck my head in the sink. (i call front desk-- how do you turn on shower? push the button. i swear there is no button i looked everywhere and forever) got rental car and its shift by the way. only drove stick 3 times before: once in highschool for spring break in mexico when me jenny and katie rented a jeep and i have video of us killing it the whole time, and with nascar (also killing it a lot but didnt make the video ha) and t. pastrana's rally car (did pretty good), and now (doing real bad). buck had the camera out and i stalled EVERYwhere like in the middle of intersections and it was so bad people were honking at me all the time! and then we went to this austrian restaurant that had a salad bar thing with desserts next to it so i decided to try a little sliver of each of the 8 desserts and then when i went to pay the bill said 8 desserts for 4 euros each cuz i guess they weren't part of the buffet so i spent like 30 bucks on desserts so i ate those for dinner too. we going to innsbruck

and ha this is random, found out today that (they have flugtags in austria) a girl who works for red bull here, and is my age, did a 'red bull flugtag on the road' show' totally copying 'Red Bull Flugtag Roadies' show I did this summer but hers is in german- its so funny to me its like mcdonalds in the u.s. versus canada haha !! i have no idea what she's saying in it even but i guess she saw me at hq when i was there today and someone told me about her later... so i had to google stalk her show here i found it: make your own comparisons!  here is hers  and mine

hosting a Red Bull show in Europe!!

18 hours in airports today to get to europe!! didnt sleep cuz i was so excited and cuz kids kept kicking my chair and on my first flight i sat between 2 men and the one to my right (cuz i was tired) kept being like, just put the arm rest up between us and nestle yourself on my shoulder. im like no thanks. he's like just do it please. ew no.

landed in germany, took a little hopper plane to austria and went straight to red bull world HQ in Fuschl!!! it's so cool it looks like 2 mini volcanoes in the middle of a lake plus it's surrounded by austrian mountains it's so COOL!! i've been keeping my eye out for the red bull founder Dietrich Matashitz cuz he has a glass office at the top of the red bull volcano and shows up randomly, so far no luck boo!

so then camera guy Buck and I met up with Michi and Pierre (producers of the show and event 'Red Bull Can You Make It" that I'm here to host) and we ate lunch and talked about the show details- i had these meat filled puffy bread balls and sour kraut and now i know what jet lag is-- it's midnight here, and it's 3 pm in minnesota!

and oh i listened to german radio and learned some german phrases and took pictures of german signs and watched german people behaving german i love it!!! and i watched german tv.

this week buck's and my job is to take our rental car and start driving around europe to get some b-roll---weeee!! tomorrow i think is italy!!-- and some time this week i might stop and say hi to my relatives who live somewhere around here haha! they dont know me really i'll have to explain how i'm related... which ill have to figure out too...
