mtv canada and spring break

haller. im in toronto. well im actually in a small town to the right of toronto. unless u turn the map upside down then its left of toronto. jasons playing guitar. i decided to start blogging again. me and him are VEry bad at correlating schedules apparently because the other week i went to canada (where he's from) and he went to nashville. because we each thought the other was booking our ticket for that week to the other place. woops. i went to mtv canada the other week -- it was so fun! im fascinated by things that are the same, but different. like contrasting mtv in the states and canada. the mtv building in nyc is in the middle of time square, and each floor has floor to ceiling windows. mtv in toronto (in picture) was a historic but remodeled building, but one huge room remained un-remodeled, and had these red king chairs side by side against all the walls wrapping around the huge room. it was cool. i guess its where important government people would come from other countries and all meet in the room in the chairs facing each other. i guess the rolling stones rented out the entire mtv building once, built a ginormous pool table in that red king chair room, and left it there cuz it was too big to fit thru the doors. so theres a giant pool table in there too. i was there on mtv canada's 5th anniversary. then i watched the mtv live show 'mtv live' and met the 4 hosts. 2 of them were cast to host the show originally, then the other 2 got signed on almost by accident throughout the years. sheena- control room girl- is a character/host on the show now ever since she slipped and fell on silly string live on the show. and paul - 'man on the street' on the show now used to be an intern for the show but they said everytime they put the camera on him he looked like he was in pain and it was so funny that now he does all the celeb interviews cuz he's so awkward its hilarious. here's one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp8qSeOks7k

so ya thats wat i learned at mtv canada. good people. few more days in canada for me this week and then back to nyc! last week on 10 on top it was a special spring break themed show and everyone knew i was so frikin thrilled cuz i could wear shorts and a tank top lol cuz in winter even tho the green screen turns the set into a chill bedroom scene for me to be in, i still have to wear tights or more layers to match the outside weather mood. so i CANT wait til summer. so i can take my clothes off. lol just kidding you get it tho -- guna go watch a movie meow.

I'm back... twitter's 140 characters leave much to the imagination and I like telling people too much so here we go lol- life's updates since the last time i blogged... uhh wow looking back that was when i lived in LA -- a LOT has happened since then!!! I moved to Nashville Tennessee, but fly to NYC 3-5 days a week to host '10 on Top' on MTV -- its on saturdays at 11:30 am est. its good stuffff!!!! super fun. everyone who works there is awesome, and its right in times square. they gave me an office too which i kinda turned into my home away from home bedroom. in the sense that i have so many clothes in there and posters. and italy round lights hung from the ceiling. also. i recently found out its 'times square' and not 'time square'. watever. sometimes i make sugar cookies and bring them around mtv. but i keep meeting new people and needing more so nobodies left out. last time i needed to make 4 batches n i was still short cuz i give them to people in the elevator and street on the way in too.

anyways it felt like christmas in NYC yesterday cuz it was crisp out, today it's rainy and i just got done filming '10 on top' so im sitting in my hotel room trying to figure out what to be for halloween. wow that DJ hero2 commercial where the girl gives another girl her freckles is really trippy & amazing. going to go edit a video now fo funz. i got jason 'NHL slapshot' for wii, for canadian thanksgiving the other day and he played for like 3 days straight & now his arms hurt! murphy dug up one of our plants in tennessee and paisley purrs when i hold her up to our tv so she can bat at the moving pictures on the screen, and she has no front claws, i think thats it for now

was on a spanish dating show & went on a 'celeb star tour'

hosted a show the other week just for a day about a new red bull mxt truck they decked out so it doubles as a dj stand with 2 xboxes and 4 big screens and huge sounds system its cool and i got to drive it and give it a car wash and asked the mexican guy in spanish at the car wash if he thought he could fit his whole family in the truck and he said yes and i said dont think so cuz theres a dj stand in it HAHAHAHAHA and be stupid on camera so it was the funnest day ever, and the camera guy mavro from the shoot called me a few days later and asked if i wanted to be on an mtv show pilot with corey bohan (red bull bmx athlete) and his friends), so i called corey and he said i could bring some friends too if i wanted so i brought my 2 roomates lauren s. and tina- we went with the bmx'ers on one of those hollywood star tours all around in a van convertible haha it was fun cuz whenever they saw a random person, like a random girl on her bike riding past us they'd be like omg miley cyrus!! look its miley!! agh!! and the girl would be like wtf and they did that for random ppl like omg its matt damon!! when we drove past ppl's houses there were paparazzi waiting outside nearby their cars a lot of time it was interesting!! and at tom cruse's house there was a random girl sleeping on his curb. then we stopped by the DC clothing company store and they let us in even though it just closed cuz a lot of the guys were sponsored by DC and there was a big poster of corey on their wall haha so we all got to pick out free stuff!! i got a sundress and a cute jacket yay! they gave our tour guide girl a hat too. then we ate at california pizza kitchen for the second time that day and all the guys got salads and the girls got pizza and stuff... that sounds opposite. then they showed us some bike tricks in lauren's living room. then i went to bed and woke up and did a spanish dating show the next day called '12 corazones' (12 hearts) (& told them i had a boyfriend tho so i wouldnt really be matched with anyone) -- where there were 8 girls and 4 guys and we discussed boy and girl personality differences and answered questions like 'what would you do if you liked too many boys at one time' i said i only like 1 boy at a time but my great grandma bunny on the other hand had multiple boyfriends at once that didnt know about each other cuz they lived in different states. and i had my pink guitar so i would sing my stupid answers sometimes and they were short a girl on the show so i got to invite lauren d. she didnt understand anything going on and just kinda sat there and smiled haha but it was awesome. see mom look im using my spanish major. thought for sure no one would ever see the show anyway cuz pretty sure it just aires on spanish channels and in mexico lol. then i get a call from my friend pat who hosts a show on fuel tv and is like... my girlfriend (speaks spanish) and i, are watching you on tv right now. nice spanish songs.' thanks patrick.

and now today im in bed all day kinda sick and worn down cuz i was like go go go go go the whole week and my body was starting to shut down. went to a concert last night cuz i promised tina i'd go but i was just like blah and no fun cuz i was exhausted. plus ive moved 3 times since ive gotten to cali and i might move AGAIN! cuz the girls im living with are moving so im going with them, probably just down the road though :p

i was an extra in 'the fray' music video

i was an extra in the fray music video a few nights ago, started at 5pm and ended at 6am, i got too tired and cold and left around 1am but it soooo interesting, ill blog about it another time cuz i signed a disclosure that said i cant talk about it til its released, not that they would read my blog but just incase haha, but made friends on set and got invited to a party which turns out to be a bday party for emile hirsch...(click his name)... at this brian grazer's house...click here... he's one of the biggest producers in the world and the house was worth 20 million dollars!!! look at the list on that site of all the flipping movies he's produced geez. the guest house was as big as my house, the view was incredible, they have a home theatre room, and they are moving into a different house soon and ben affleck/jennifer garner are moving in. i apologize that i just name dropped a million times but i thought all that was pretty cool! my friend lauren also informed me that andrew keagan was there too but i dont know who that is but it sounds cool haha. sorry again for the name drop. here's another one... im a new host client to marki costello and a girl erin from the show 'the city' is a host client to her too so i met her the other day haha k im done!

went to marki's hosting bootcamp this weekend, a 2 day thing where u learn hosting stuff from marki, aspiring hosts fly in from all over the US, one girl from australia, andrew cook (brother of david cook from american idol), some guy with a THICK italian accent it was funny, a couple that hosts together all the time, other people, costs a lot of money usually but i got it free cuz im her client wee! i learned a lot and now im tired i go sleep now. ps ate sushi with lauren d the other night yumi in my tumi and now i have 2 close friends lauren (lauren S. is the one i live with and my friend from MN that lives here too ... lauren d.) so we all get confused.

... today i went to a kickoff party at red bull hq (for a snowboard event happening this weekend that i'm not attending) and on the way out my friend brooks said hey the plants on the way out are edible, so i ate a flower and then turns out he was lying. then the other day josh and i played a trick on jason- josh told me that last week jason wrote josh's name on a dollar bill in tennessee and then spent it. so i called jason the other day and told him that i bought a treat at a gas station here in cali and a dollar bill in my change had josh's name on it-- he's been freaking out since then like oh my gosh what are the chances seriously there are 600 million ppl in the US and it got from me to you this is so crazy blah blah blah so then me and josh called him on 3 way today and broke the news to him haha, drove to san diego for a job interview and got it- promotional modeling for a rock and roll style clothing brand called dirtbag clothing, i'll model their clothes and then 10 min after i left they called and said they want me to host shows for them too cuz they sponsor a lot of bands so whenever bands like hinder (random example they used) roll through i would get backstage and do interviews and stuff yay and they started warning me that tommy lee from band Mötley Crüe licks people's face when he meets them so to watch out. now i have to research band knowledge beyond just taylor swift haha. stopped in at my aunt and uncles house for dinner while i was in san diego, my little cousin emma who's nine gave me a lot of girl scout cookies which i ate a lot on the way home traded 2 cookies for water at mcdonalds. she also texts and calls and emails me many times a day, but i do enjoy it, she's quite entertaining and tells me about her crush she has that held her hand once. i got my car brakes fixed but they still sound like im running over a batch of kittens when i brake so i should fix that again.
